I have never seen it taken for granted that female comics-readers are only into superhero comics for the eye-candy. I have seen it taken for granted that I, as a female comics-reader, wouldn't be interested in Green Lantern and would I perhaps like to check out Sandman?
Never mind that I would like to check out Sandman sometime, I specifically went there for new Green Lantern issues.
Aaaaaand this is why I only buy comics at my regular comic shop.
