1. How has LJ changed your life? It’s made me a bit braver about putting my thoughts out there. Introduced me to the idea of personality being something that can be defined in the terms of popular media. Shown me that I’m NOT the only person who tihnks way too hard about stuff that’s really nto that important and generally just reinforced my chronic geekiness. Oh, and caused me to write Transformers pr0n that really isn’t all that pr0ny.
2. What do you do before bedtime? Recently? Brush my teeth, take my medications (Avandamet and Januvia, which still sounds like the heroine out of some pulp fantasy novel. “Hark! Here cometh Januvia of the Winds!”), talk to Amy about this that and the other, then finally fall asleep.
3. What will your dream wedding be like? I don’t really have a dream wedding in mind… I dunno…Transformers/GI Joe/Jem and the Holograms/Ultima/Frankenstien themed wedding at Disneyworld? With ninjas?
4. What is the city of your dreams and why? -- Canalport, Mars, Because it’d be on freakin’ MARS man! MARS! You could find me at the call center down near the industrial park near the Spaceport. Meet me at Waffle House, it is da Bomb.
5. Are you an introvert or extrovert? -- I’m an introvert who is occasionally forced into an extrovert’s role by circumstances beyond my control.
6. Which is more blessed, loving someone or being loved by someone? This is like asking, which is better? Cake or Pie? Both are good and I’ll have a slice of each, thanks.
7. Do you trust easily? -- Yes and no.
8. If the person you secretly like is already attached, what would you do? Nothing.
9. Is there anything that has made you unhappy these days? Not particularly thrilled with diabetes, but then most folks aren’t out going “WHOOT! Diabetes!” Other than that…ehh, I want to go swimming.
10. What is your best quality? -- I’m frickin’ hilarious.
11. Is being tagged fun? Yes and no. When the answers come easily, it’s fun. When they don’t, it’s a slow slog through hell. Or maybe heck.
12. How do you see yourself? Somebody who does ok, but could do better.
13. Who are currently the most important people to you? In no particular order,
my mom, Amy, Amy’s mom, most of the folks on third shift, Brian, Brian, too many people back in Indiana to list, my aunts and uncle, my growing pack of second cousins and the rest of my family.
14. What kind of person do you think the person who tagged you is? [Bad username or site: “ewysiwyg” @ livejournal.com] is a hell of a lot braver than I am about a lot of things and I admire that.
15. Would you rather be single & rich or married but poor? -- Well, technically, I’m single now even though I’m by rights the closest thing you can get to married without actually having a marriage license sooooo…single and rich, pls.
15A. Would you rather be in a happy marriage and poor or a bad marriage and rich? Happy and poor. My inner Swindle is disgusted with me, but that’s a good thing.
16. How many children do you want to have, if any? None, though I agree with [Bad username or site: “ewysiwyg” @ livejournal.com] on the subject of four-legged children.
17. What question do you want to know the answer too? Why do people make prank phone calls?
18. If you fall in love with two people simultaneously, who would you pick? Why pick?
19. Would you have 100% safe sex with a stranger for $10,000,000? Technically, the only sexual method that is 100% safe is abstinence and I have that with total strangers all the time. Please make the cashier’s check payable to…
20. What were your parents going to name you if you'd been born the opposite gender? No clue. I don’t know if they even had a name picked out. I was apparently something of an accident/not entirely planned or some such.
