Summary: The Combaticons visit the Solomon Islands; takes place in 1993/1994.
Author's Notes: Written for the Transficsation March Challenge which was to write the Transformers in a country that was anywhere but North America. I chose the Solomon Islands, since that is where Guadalcanal is located. The Guadalcanal American Memorial was built in 1992 and refurbished in 1998. There’s more information about it and the source of the two quotes used in the story in the end notes. There are other sources I used for information on the location of the memorial and the significance of the ridge; unfortunately, I didn’t keep records of those sites. Any errors are mine entirely.

International Blanket Fort Day

In honor of International Blanket Fort Day, I hereby construct a Virtual Blanket Fort out of the virtual spirits of comfy blankets past, including the grey cover I used to have in college, both old red sleeping bags, the white and blue comforter I used to have as a kid, that piece of fun fur I used to own, a bajillion comfy pillows and the little green table I used to have when I was little that I can fit under thanks to the virtual nature of this fort.

Supplies include two bags of oreo cookies, a gallon of milk, a buncha cheese, crackers, pecans and dried fruit.

We will secure this position until such a time as it is safe to come back out and/or we get bored with this. Booyeah!

Due to Technical Difficulties

Mainly the fact that I recorded the second part of chapter 1 with my goddamn Mute button on and because the audio was f'ed up on the first part of chapter 1 (namely, I sounded WAY TOO LOUD! and there was too much breathing), I've pulled the recordings of Seeker Christmas Carol for now.
