Thanks to
surreallis for pointing this out
Spoilers below for tonight's episode of NCIS:
Tonight's episode featured several characters who had the "real" names of GI Joe characters.
Not only did the episode feature an FBI agent named Courtney Krieger (Cover Girl), it also featured a dead guy by the name of Marvin Hinton (Roadblock) and a red herring waitress named Shannon O'Hara (which is close enough to Shana O'Hara, aka Scarlett, for me).
But the topper? The absolute topper? Tonight's murderer was a delivery guy named "Robert Graves" who was a kid studying engineering and, secretly, working for the Big Bad of the episode. Robert Graves is Grunt's real name and Grunt left the GI Joe team in the Marvel issues to study *drumrolls* engineering.
It was also nice to see Courtney and Ziva hit it off over horseback riding and asskicking. Here's hoping she makes some more appearances on the show.
ETA: I missed one, apparently there was someone named Carl Greer (aka Doc) in the episode as well.
