Aww, that's sweet. Though I figured Daniel had a crush on Arcee at the end of Rebirth, it's not like boys don't grow out of those things anyway. :D

Spike and Carly being divorced... much as I hate to say it, I can see that happening. Daniel's, er, 'condition' probably upped the tension for a few years, not to mention Spike is an ass in Season 4 anyway. >_>

While I can't say I like the idea of Spike and Carly being divorced, I guess it would explain why they weren't seen together often in Season 3...

I figure Daniel still has the crush, he's just come to reluctant terms with the fact that there are certain differences that would be difficult to get past -- like the fact Arcee is already in a relationship with Hot Rod and Springer.

Luckily, Nebulon girls are easy.

I figure it was something that had been building a while but that came to a head some point during S3 with the final blow coming after Rebirth. It was one thing for Spike and Carly to be involved in the TF war, but Carly's opinion changed when it was her son being pulled in, particularly as a combatant.

Not to mention the whole life in a fishbowl thing that comes with being a Witwicky.
