We were watching an episode last night and there was a "commerical" on the show talking about how "Your inalienable rights are access to consumer credit, unlimited TV and home security [or something like that, not so sure on the third]" and for a second, I forgot I was watching a DVD, not an actual broadcast TV show 'cause it sounded like something you might see these days. Particularly considering I found a website last night that offers 'food insurance' -- i.e. they'll sell you a year's worth of freeze-dried food guaranteed to last 25 years for 10,000 bucks. Yeah, Max seems less fictional all the time...
