NaNoWriMo -- Day 1

After a false start at midnight last night, complete with an "I can't do this! This is HARD!" hissy fit, I managed to find my mojo with a different idea around 4am (after indulging in some late night TV and Banacek on DVD -- young, hot George Peppard, yay!).

I started typing up what I'd written around 6pm local time and finished around now with 1706 words -- which puts me 39 words ahead of tomorrow's goal! YAY!
