"Good Girls (and Boys) Don't" Thought this was a cool article about flawed characters in fiction. Not big Flaws, but the little, every day ones that make characters more human or at least more 'real.'

You're welcome! It struck a cord with me, mainly because I like characters to have flaws to them. Real flaws, not flaws-that-aren't like "he's too loyal!" or "gives too much of himself!"

What I should say is that it's not so much that "he's too loyal!" or "gives too much of himself!" aren't "real flaws" because they certainly can be, it's more that they seem to tend to be used to give characters who are otherwise perfection walking a flaw that ends up having no effect on the character. Maybe it's more of a role-playing thing than a writing thing, but it annoys me.
